February Happenings!

Happy Month of Love! Here are some of the cool events that we are hosting here at The Remington.

Valentines contest. Submit a letter or email letting us know why their sweetheart deserves a valentines treat. Prize awarded 02/12/10. Dinner for 2 at Z Tejas, Manicure and Pedicure, Flowers, and Candy.

Breakfast at the gates: Thursday February 11^th from 7:30-8:30 am. We will be handing out breakfast at the gate as you head out to work. We would love any kind of small donation to St. Jude.

Remington Game night at The TX Stars: We will be hosting a resident outing on Sunday Feb. 28^th at 5pm for a TX Stars Hockey game. RSVP to let us know that you would like to go and we will get a ticket reserved for you on the Remington.

I saw “Avatar” the day of its release and it was a good movie with a somewhat simple and predictable story line.  After hearing some people debate what were the top 5 Sci-Fi movies of all time, I decided to make my own.   I know this list is going to stir some debate but what the hell.  Here is my Top 10 Sci-Fi movies all time.  Give some feedback and or share you own list.}

Recycle Your Christmas Tree!!!

25^th anniversary of Christmas Tree recycling at Zilker Park Drop your tree off from 10am-49pm on Saturday Jan. 2^nd, Sunday January 3^rd, or Saturday January 9^th. Website is austinrecycles.com
